I grew up with Archie comics, and I still collect comics, but had not picked up Archie in a little while. With the recent Archie Wedding storyline (a terrific story), I got back into the characters and have enjoyed reading up on Archie again. I got a copy of this book at a convention, and have enjoyed it tremendously. This is a good "year one" type of story for the high school Archie and the gang that we know and love from the comics. We have a good backstory not only to Archie and his friends, but also the start of Principal Weatherbee and his career at Riverdale. We are treated to some nice fun moments of Archie's charming bumbling, the usual love triangle with Betty and Veronica, and some nice character moments with Jughead as well. All in all a very good purchase for any Archie fan.
