5.0 out of 5 stars A must read August 19, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
The story and the plot are well developed and there is a moment on the story where Justin becomes a real teenager to the reader. I liked that even thought this was a fiction novel the author kept it REAL! In fact, I enjoyed the novel so much because it gave me real stuff not the wacky kablammy annoying view of high school life other YA fiction authors, Hollywood and Disney movie directors give.

I definitely recommend High School Football: The Temptation to any age reader. For an adult if might be a trip down to high school years to feel young again and for us young and proud it would be a small oasis to identify -for a little lapse of reading time- with another struggling teenager.

5.0 out of 5 stars Written by an author who knows teenagers September 21, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I discovered this author quite by accident. In addition to being well edited, this story is well told. The main character Justin is immediately a kid I could like, and the secondaries were rounded out well. It isn't the usual high-school drama, but rather a real story about small victories, over a world which doesn't always go as planned. Well done, sir.
