Over the volumes I have grown to really love this series. Initially I had my reservations due to the enormous amount of fanservice in the series, yet for every pheromone-inducing scene there is a "real life girl" scene to counteract it. Basically, no matter how comic or manga-esque the girls in this series become, the creator never forgets that her characters are supposed to be believable & based on real events of high school girls throughout Japan. I would go so far as to say that the series was initially written for girls & the author threw in the fanservice so the male audience wouldn't feel left out. This volume wraps up the girls' class trip to Okinawa, as well as the first part to the series. While the manga is still being produced overseas, it's unknown if DrMaster will continue to publish this series over here in the US. If they don't it will be a shame, yet the ending to this volume is cleanly done & would be a fine way to exit out of the manga. (Although the average reader would be curious as to what happened to all of the characters later on down the road.) If you are someone who is curious about the series in general, I don't recommend starting with this volume. While most of the volumes are stand alone & can be read individually, this volume really assumes that you have been reading the entire series since many different previous entries are mentioned or brought into play. Besides, half of the charm of this series is when you read the entire series from the first volume & get to know each individual character. Maybe it's a bit out of the norm & could potentially throw off female readers, but as a fellow female manga reader I heartily recommend it. You'd be missing out by reading it. 5/8/08: I'm editing the review to say that this volume is the last volume in the series. The author hasn't officially come out & said that she's ended the series, but she hasn't worked on anything else so far.

A great way to end a great series. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it from beginning to end. Eriko was too amusing.
