I read this book cover-to-cover and it is a complete guide to homeschooling during the high school years and beyond. It gets you ready to make your transcripts, keep records, choose classes, curriculum, and a great listing of online classes as well.
Diana Johnson writes in a very personal way, from her own experience and years of research. It really pays off in this book.
I would recommend it to anyone schooling at home and who wants to create a complete plan for their children's high school years.

This book is for EVERY homeschooler! If you have young children, it will help you direct your elementary curricula and activities toward a successful high school career. If you are intimidated about high school education, Diana Johnson gives you all the advice you need from course/credit guidelines and advice on high school materials/curricula to college entrance exam preparation, application to colleges, and early admissions to junior colleges for dual high school/college credit. Diana has experience as a former public school teacher, veteran homeschool teacher of over 2o years, and homeschool department manager in a retail book store. Even if you are a trained educator who has taught in private or public school, you will find her book is a gold mine of tips and homeschool trade secrets that will help you successfully navigate your child's high school years in the homeschool setting.

Excellent resource with forms on CD that you can print to keep all your child's high school records on, including transcripts! Also helpful in directing you exactly what to teach your student. So glad I got this book!

While the book does have useful information on developing a plan for high school homeschooling, it is overshadowed by the very heavy emphasis on a Fundamentalist Christian world view. I would never have ordered this book if the description had mentioned that this is a book for Christian homeschoolers. I don't want to wade through endless religious material to pull out what might be useful information. I'll be returning this book.
