About the Author
Adam Palmer is a former high school student who made it through all four years relatively unscathed. His other titles include Taming a Liger: Unexpected Spiritual Lessons from Napoleon Dynamite, Mooch, and Knuckle Sandwich. Adam lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his family.

Well, well. We finally have a piece of work that deals honestly with G-d and culture and the ways of growing up. Adam Palmer does a magnificent job of attacking subjects such as the meaning of life, our relationships withG-d, family, ourselves and others, how to deal with parents and siblings and friends, temptation, and the future. One of the most refreshing aspects of the book is that Palmer doesn't just stay in the arena of ambiguous abstraction when dealing with big issues such as temptation and relationships, but he comes down to the concrete, here and now, our world experiences when dealing with subjects like sex, masturbation, rule of law set up by the parents, school, homework, etc. This book is most definitely a breath of fresh air designed to get the conversation going between a student and his/her parents. If you are a teenager, or a parent, please get and read this book.

High school can be tough for teens. They're no longer children, but they're not adults either. Suddenly they are facing a lot of new situations with no easy answers. It's a time of searching and growing, of making decisions that can change their lives permanently. Adam Palmer admits he doesn't have all the answers, but he deals with some very tough questions. He doesn't duck the issue either. His advice is solid, and very much on the mark. There's a wealth of information here and all of it based on God's word. I'll definitely pass this book along to the teenagers in my family.

It talks about different things,such as finding out who you are,and sexuality. But a lot of the chapters talk about stuff like,well,finding out who you are,and college.It also has quite a bit of stuff about Christianity,and I'm not Christian. I recommend it,though.
