It's a fairly large bag so this isn't the bag you want if you want something that will decrease your load. That being said-- it's a great bag with plenty of room in side for a variety of equipment. I can put my 19inch laptop, a 10inch netbook, a few paperbacks and my Amazon Kindle inside without a problem.

The front pocket is great for essentials and I can go without my purse when I go out with all of my various stuff and do cliche things like write in public.

While I agree with some of the comments that this bag could use an additional compartment or two, I was very pleased with how useful it was for an overnight business trip. It is smaller than I thought it would be from the pictures, but I was able to get everything in it that I needed for an overnight trip, including my netbook. On the plane I was able to put it under the seat in front of me with no problem. I am very happy with this purchase.

The Computer Tote mates perfectly with High Sierra's rolling duffel bags and, when hauling stuff through airports, can be strapped to the duffel handle. Great solution. The inside will hold lots of stuff: phones, iPods, computer, extra clothing, etc. My wife and I now own both the 32" rolling duffel and the Computer Tote. All available from Amazon at less than $350! Amazing. Oh, and by the way, we LOVE Amazon!
