I purchased this duffel bag to use when I work out at the gym. However, I also found it to be useful when I go away on weekend road trips because it's large enough to carry several days change of clothes. I chose the charcoal/black color. I especially like the bottom zipper compartment where I store my shoes or dirty clothes. There are even "air vents" in that bottom compartment for those musty shoes. It has adequate room inside and I like the side water bottle compartment. It even has a little inside, side pocket that carries my I.D. and cell phone. You can carry it by the handle or by the shoulder strap. So instead of carrying a suitcase or one of those roller type bags, I just grap my duffel and take off.

This bag is made from super durable material and has lots of pockets for all the necessary gym items. I still haven't decided if it's too large for everyday use... but if you shower at the gym or bring lots of clothes with you, its perfect.

I NEVER buy bags without seeing them in person, but I took a chance after spending some time on Amazon hunting for a new gym bag. I am happy with the bag after using it for a month or so, but I am not totally wowed by it. It is very sturdy with several compartments (water bottle, small zipper, wet/vented zipper area on bottom, etc.) but the main compartment isn't huge compared to the size of the bag. I keep a medium-sized train case of toiletries, flip flops, a swimsuit, a few small personal items, and maybe an extra change of clothes in it, but I haven't filled it up and stuffed it yet. The vented compartment on the bottom is fine for my swimsuit or flip flops, but I don't think it would be great for a standard size pair of sneakers.

All in all, it is a good bag and I am happy with my purchase. I think buying bags/purses/luggage is a very personal thing so it is hard to recommend this to others. It seems like it will hold up for a long time, so that is good!

This bag, although at first appears to be a durable bag, will not hold up to the rigors of everyday use if you carry anything other than light clothing. It might be ok for usage to the gym, but for an everyday workbag to carry lunch items, newspapers, books, and water...it won't last more than 6 months or so without showing signs of severe damage. I moved onto a Galls bag and it takes 10 times the abuse and doesn't fall apart. Try a Galls bag instead.

I gave as a Christmas present to my daughter, who is a young mother, and she was delighted to have a "feminine" but large bag to take to the gym that would hold all the things...wet & dry... that she needed for herself and the kids on their outings to the "Y". I couldn't find anything comparable in the sporting good stores that I went to. I was very happy with Amazon's selection and service (as always!) Thank you.

This the best travel weekend bag. I love how the bottom is a separate compartment. I am able to store my shoes and/or dirty without messing up my other nice/clean clothes in the main compartment. The side pockets are also great.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas, and all of us love the quality and durability of this duffel. Thickness of the material and the quality of the zippers are great, and I imagine she will have and use this for many years. Much better than almost all the duffel bags I have seen at discount retailers, and great looking too! Highly recommend this bag.

THIS BAG WAS PURCHASED AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT. THE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD AND THE COLOR (GARDEN ASH) TURNED OUT TO BE NICER THAN EXPECTED. I THINK THE BEST FEATURE WILL TURN OUT TO BE THE BOTTOM SECTION THAT ALLOWS THE USER TO STUFF DIRTY CLOTHES. GOOD VALUE FOR THE $$.

to find a medium to large duffle for the gym, and this is it, with only one or two drawbacks. I absolutely love the PVC lined zippered bottom section for shoes and sweaty clothes, it is a super idea that every duffle should have. I thought about the ones with shoe sections on the ends (where you stand your shoes up), but a pair of size 12 gym shoes won't fit, and they do in this one, without eating up all of your space. I could easily fit 2 pair of size 12 shoes in the bottom of this bag with no problem. It has a dedicated water bottle pouch in one end, which is great, and has a non-partitioned pouch in the other end for misc. goodies. The only way i think this bag could be improved is the long side compartment. It is divided up into lots of small pockets for all of your goodies (phone, wallet, pens, etc.), but it's just not very big, and there are no more divided compartments inside the bag itself. I am a fan of LOTS of various divided pockets so i can stay organized, so i would only give this bag about a 5 out of 10 on that note. It gets an overall great review from me due to the bottom zippered layout and overall size and usefulness. Great bag!!!!
