5.0 out of 5 stars Great bag for long trips
This bag was exactly what I was looking for. High quality canvas and rolls easily when packed to the maximum capacity.

2.0 out of 5 stars Never Again.
I bought this luggage in Late June. I ordered Lava Red, it came in early and it was burnt umber orange and it's not that attractive. the shape is good looking, but useless. It tapers at the top and is definitely not 28" I'd say it is about 25-26" which was a HUGE disappointment because I have specific uses for my luggage and it NEEDED it to be 28" minimum. granted, I...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great reliable piece of luggage, October 5, 2009
My wife and I each got one of these pieces for our wedding and used it on our honeymoon. Bags held up great. zippers were large and easy to work with. Was able to pack a weeks worth of clothes easily and have extra room. My wife managed to stuff her's full. The only downside I can see to these pieces is that they are rounded on the edges and do seem to hold a tad less then other 28" uprights I have seen. If you're a real heavy packer you might want to look elsewhere. If you're a light or average packer this bag will suit you well. I've really enjoyed mine

Purchased this High Sierra 25" rolling bag about a week before a recent trip. The bag arrived in perfect condition. This bag is beyond fabulous. It has every imaginable pocket, zippers everywhere you'd want them, multiple handles. It is well balanced and rolls easily.

I bought this luggage in Late June. I ordered Lava Red, it came in early and it was burnt umber orange and it's not that attractive. the shape is good looking, but useless. It tapers at the top and is definitely not 28" I'd say it is about 25-26" which was a HUGE disappointment because I have specific uses for my luggage and it NEEDED it to be 28" minimum. granted, I used my luggage three-five times a week , but I've had it about two months and there's already a five inch rip near the zipper. previously I had a USED luggage set from the mid 80's and it probably was cheaply made then, and it lasted five times as long. the sides are stiff, although the zippered compartment inside the luggage is cheap and not large enough, the pockets are ok, but not set up well. the wheels have not broke yet, which is a pro. and I do like the plastic bottom because having fabric there would of been a huge failure in design. but the piping is already frayed and the buckles that are supposed to "support" the bag are cheap and you can't adjust them to squeeze the insides to a smaller load. the bag was heavier than I thought which made me a bit sad because I have to put about 60lbs or equipment in it's insides and don't need any more weight. The one reason I got this bag is because of the great reviews! if I had known how it would fair I don't think I would of gotten it. I hope you don't make the same mistake if you're going to use this bag on a regular basis, it would be fine if you are going to use it once yearly, but you might not want to spend so much if that's what you plan to do.
