Positive: Much better than a backpack. If you hunt with a backpack try one of these. For a guy with back problems, this was very comfortable.
Negative: Not water proof. Everything was wet after a rain filled hunt. Back to ziplock packing day one.
No way to mount a hydration pack without putting it in the compartment.
There are no loops, MOLLE or not to add anything to the straps front or back.
Straps are thin, so mounting a pistol of knife leads to binding.
Overall, not a bad light day pack. I am going to drop some coin on a better design that will hopefully be waterproof.
