4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile pack, September 26, 2007
Good quality pack, but not sized for smaller person or women. Will look for something else that fits a smaller frame. Also, shoulder straps rub on neck and fabric is irritating - had to wrap with softer material.

4.0 out of 5 stars High Sierra Passport, October 23, 2009

This is the perfect traveling companion. In a time when airlines are charging for checked luggage, you can carry this pack on. You don't have to worry about lost luggage or pay someone to carry it for you. This will be my "suitcase" for many years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very handy, love this bag!, October 20, 2009

I bought this bag and traveled to France with just this one bag- and it worked perfectly fine. No rips, no tears, comfortable on my back (I'm a 5'4" woman). It does not have the padding to protect a laptop, but there's plenty of room for everything else. Now, it's my preferred bag of choice, even over my "classier" carry-on bags.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great!, September 9, 2009
I used this for a month trip to switzerland and italy and a 10 day trip to the bahamas using ONLY this backpack. Extremely comfortable on longer walks... and blends in to the crowd very well. I did have one of the internal compression strap connectors (little plastic clip) break on me, because I was way over tightening it. This backpack also meets carryon size for pretty much all airlines. I've never had a problem getting into the overhead bins. I'm planning to buy another one of these for my fiance on a trip to spain/france next year. I do recommend getting a smaller backpack with it... I use rick steves little backpack whenever I need to travel a little lighter and for day trips.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for hikking, lots of space, April 26, 2008
I bought this to replace a broken, smaller bag and I'm loving it. It's really comfortable even fully loaded. It has plenty of space, and it was big enough to pack an Xbox360 with all the cables and power source, 2 controls and enough cloth for a 4 day trip in winter!! Nothing but the best from it.

Highly recommended for the price tag!

I love the idea the button can be expanded, jut the weight for a woman to use it for a long time, maybe will be a heavy thing to use.
