I see other reviewers are having problems with their Soaker 70s, but not me. I use mine for biking to/around/from work (5-10 casual miles per day) and sometimes for longer days on the trail (~20-30 miles.) I received it as a gift when I went out to BurningMan a few years ago, and it was a lifesaver in the desert heat.

It's small enough to be lightweight and comfortable, yet still has enough space to secure valuables. I haven't used the hidden mesh pocket yet, but it's nice to have just in case. The water tube can be routed over the left or right shoulder, and I use the loops on the other side to route MP3 headphones. Then secure the MP3 player onto the clip on the back, set it to shuffle, and hit the road ... everything I need is on or in the pack.

It has always held up great for me, and cleans up easily. (If it can survive BurningMan and still looks like new, that's impressive!)

It leaked on me once, after cleaning it, because I didn't screw the water tube in tight enough. A few turns of the tube, and now all is well.

You need to mind yourself when taking the bladder out, it secures in there pretty tight, but it IS removable. The extra five minutes of my time spent taking it out is not that big of a deal, especially considering you only have to clean the bladder every few weeks or so (depending on use.)

Overall, I find my Soaker 70 useful and a great value!

I bought the black/graphite one and I can say that the "graphite" color is not as pictured, it's more of a green grey, very ugly in my opinion; and since style was a large reason I purchased this product, I am taking 2 stars off for it.

However, functionality-wise this is an amazing product! Here are pros/cons:

Pros:

Serves as a hydration packs correctly, like most other hydration packs.
Holds A LOT of extra tools/equipment for it's size:
-The outer zippered pocket on the back can hold another two 20oz water bottles plus a bit of miscellaneous equipment
-The mixed media open pocket on the back attached to the zippered pocket can hold another single 20oz water bottle along with a little more miscellaneous equipment
-The mesh that can be pulled out from a zipper on the bottom can hold a helmet, but I use it to hold a towel and/or a spare shirt
Very lightweight and small! Almost unnoticeable when wearing if lightly packed!
Decent price, would be an excellent buy at $10, a very good buy at $20, but is still above average at $30. $40 or up, start comparing to others that are cheaper.

Cons:

Colors in real life are not as shown in image.
Difficult to put bladder back in. (While others say it is hard to get out, it isn't once you figure out how to take it out; however, taking it out isn't necessary, it can be cleaned while still in the pack)

If you do not care about the colors, then consider this a 5-star rating! But if you do, then realize the colors will be distorted from the actual image.

Color Name:Gecko, Graphite|Amazon Verified Purchase
The water poach is really not removable. I was looking for a day hydration pack that is also removable so that I could put it in my over night pack. Well the listing stated hat it is removable, but not really. You have to almost destroy it to get the hydration pack out, so it can not really be used for anything other than a day pack.

Great for long bike rides
I used this hydration pack during a 63 mile bike ride and it was great. A must have to any long treks/rides. Much easier than using water bottles.
