This is my forth time ordering HDMI cables from eforcity and there's good reasoning why I don't hesitate to buy cables from them. This review is only for the cable supplied by eforcity. I noticed that this item is listed under multiple sellers so my comments don't apply to the other sellers simply because these are more or less generic cables -- and a generic cable from one seller may not come from the same manufacturer as a cable from a different seller.

With that said, this HDMI cable does exactly what it's supposed to -- deliver digital HD video and digital multi-channel HD audio from an HDMI source device to an HDMI receiving device (AV receiver/TV/monitor/projector/etc). It's pretty hard to find HDMI cables this short from a retail store (plus retail stores really OVERCHARGE for HDMI cables!).

I bought three of these short HDMI cables so that I don't have to deal with extra loose cables behind my audio/video components. Although eforcity does charge the stated shipping price for each unit purchased without offering any sort of combined shipping discounts, it's still a good deal when you factor in the shipping price (under six dollars per cable after shipping) so just buy the amount you need and then if you need more later, then buy it then.

I have one of these coming in from my PS3, one from my XBox 360, and one from my ASUS O!Play Media Player plugged into the HDMI inputs on the back of my 1080P Onkyo AV receiver. I then have a 6' HDMI cable (that I also bought from eforcity in the past) coming from the HDMI output of my receiver into the HDMI input of my Samsung PN58B650 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV.

With this cable, the video signal coming in from all three components are coming through as 1080P and the digital audio does provide surround sound audio.

Overall, for the low price of this cable + shipping, it's really a no-brainer choice if you need a short cable to connect your HDMI components.

Bouoght the cable for its length, difficult to find .5 m HDMI cables. Works well. If you buy more than one cable, this particular vendor from which I bought the product, charges shipping charges for each cable sent. I bought 5 at the same time and he billed for 5 shipping charges. All cables were sent in the same brown bag via USPS. That is this vendor's stated policy and practice. If you afree to it by all means go with the product.

No issues. Hard to find these small ones. Used to hook up apple tv. Good value. Good secure fit. Would recommend.

the price was great. the items was just as i hoped even though it was a difficult to find item. it was exactly what i was looking for.. they arrived super fast. THANK YOU

pros: not way to long for the simple job of hooking up devices in the receiver stack.

cons: should have ordered more of them they are very usefull

I bought this line to connect our stereo setup to our projector. It was just the right length to reach between the stereo and the projector one shelf up. In these days of everything connected to everything (the stereo upgrades and syncs the dvd player image and sound before sending it on to the proejctore etc) it is nice to not have to have the ubiquitous 6' cable, which normally is too short for anything, but in this case would leave little from on the shelves for the actual equipment. Thank you!

This cable was a great price. It appears to function just fine. Now all I need to find is a DVD player that isn't a piece of $&%@ to try it on. I would suggest using this with your HD DVD player or if you are upconverting to 1080i, otherwise this cable is pretty much unnecessary.

Purchased this with the idea of eliminating the cluttered mess behind my TV. The cord is just about an inch too short due to location of HDMI jacks on both the tv and the BD player. Before resorting to my 6ft cable, I did watch a movie and overall the quality of the cable as well as the quality of the signal was excellent. If only it came in a 2ft length rather than 1.5ft. Packaged arrived in timely fashion. No issues other than just a tiny bit too short. Am saving the cable for future use. . .I'm sure it will come in handy eventually.
