Family was on a holiday reality TV marathon. This wasn't high on our list but stumbled upon it on Amazon. Different twist on the Womens Closet Exchange. Little East Coast vs. West Coast nuances in the styles you're likely to see.

Ick. I don't even have to words to describe how ridiculous this show is, but I am going to try. The premiss of this show is this woman, Corri (Corrie?) who owns a consignment business where they take clothing from people and sell it on eBay for them. I am a full time eBay clothing seller (different target market than this show is about- I don't do high end designer purses/shoes/etc) so i thought this show would be interesting, since I know the business and have been doing this for many years. Well. 90% of this show is fluffy added drama and opportunities created so the owner can make herself look as awesome as she thinks she is (her ego is insane!)
This show has zero redeeming qualities. Or, well, I take that back. I guess it is closet porn for those of use who enjoy looking at pretty clothing.
After I watched a few episodes of this show I decided to look up their eBay store and so I did a Google search on them. I ended up finding a lot of horrible reviews about their lack of customer service, selling counterfeit goods, never paying people who consign with them, people having to go to their storefront 5-10 times to try to complete the transaction, etc. They don't seem to be the most reputable of businesses. I also found allegations that they were shill bidding their auctions (creating fake ebay accounts to bid up items so they sell for more to unsuspecting buyers) and after looking at a lot of the screenshots and information that was posted, I do believe they were shill bidding. No other way to explain bidders who have placed 500+ bids on ONLY their items without ever winning a single auction.

What a mess of a show. Some people should not be on TV. Reality TV is usually not the most intelligent TV, but this show is a new low, especially knowing what I know now about the "star" and her business model.

Watch this show if you need some mind-numbing background noise.
