Last year I purchased an SUV that has a console and no place to stash trash. With two boys, thier friends, and carpools this was not good. I searched department stores and auto parts stores for a weighted trash bin (that wouldn't tip over) and had no luck. Finally, I came across this product on Amazon. It is just what I wanted -- it is weighted AND has velcroe, so it stays put behind the console in a place where all vehicle occupants can easily dispose of trash. It is neat and clean looking. It's a bit small, but I keep it lined with an 8 gallon trash bag and empty it often.

I've had this little trash bag in my car for probably 8 years. It has been very useful and never tips over. But it is small as people have said, and it's getting smaller all the time, because it compresses down since the sides don't hold it up (as another reviewer has mentioned). I have to say, I'm finally looking for a different style of trash can for my car.

This mini-trash collector is great for small cars, like my 2007 Yaris! Very convenient and does not take up a lot of space.

I really loved the idea of the Trash can in the car. No mess, no garbage floating around. I was very exited and disappointed when I finally got the product. It is much smaller than expected. It really won't fit a bag so you have to take it out to empy it. It also does not stick to the cars carpeting. It's weighted at the bottom, but it will still tip over. Did I mention it's very small? This is a good idea, but it's still more practicle to carry a bag in your car instead of this. It just takes space.

This litterbag works great in the space between the shift lever and the console. Its only down side it is a soft-sided bag with a flimsy support system to keep it erect and open. It tends to collapse and the top, which has a velcro closure tab, is sometimes not easy to close.

Had bought this for my boyfriends new car and it has a nice weight to it to get it from flying all over the car. Like the side pockets and the lid (though we don't shut it most of the time) Wish there was velcro somewhere since it does still roll around a little, but that might be due to my boyfriends driving, lol.

I guess I should have read the description a little better. When it says 'compact' it is compact. I need a large wastebasket for our minivan. This would start to overflow after one fast food meal waste for one person. I ended up returning it.

I bought two of these for my new car and they were a perfect fit. I like the way it is weighted and stays in place. The size is perfect to sit just below the air blower behind the front console. Great little trash container!!

I picked this up to help keep the interior of my Honda Element clean. So far, it's worked. The trash bin is quite small (roughly a 6" cube with the weight in it), but honestly, I wouldn't want much more trash than that in my truck. I now have a place to put food wrappers, drink cans and receipts, and I usually just empty it out when I stop for gas.

It is a pretty sturdy little trash can, and it also has two side pockets which are perfect for air fresheners, etc. The included bean bag takes away about a quarter of the storage space, but it keeps the trash can in one spot under hard cornering. Overall, I am quite pleased with it.

This trash bin is so small! It has a nice design, and I like the weighted bottom, but it was simply too tiny to be practical. The picture is deceiving. I sent it back.
