4.0 out of 5 stars Older editions are better
Okay, so here is the deal on this book. Older editions were great for gross anatomy (class or boards review). They were short and sweet and very high-yield. However, the newest editions have become tomes with tones of low-yield information. So, at least at my medical school, the advice we get about this book is to try to get a nice copy of one of the earlier editions...

3.0 out of 5 stars ugh, anatomy
there's just no good way to study anatomy for the boards, is there?

And this book is far from the best. I ended up breaking out my old Clinically Oriented Anatomy and just going through the blue box stuff. But even that took more time than it was worth given how few anatomy questions there are on the exam.

Everyone will have there own preference, but I thought the BRS Anatomy was more helpful in preparing for the Step 1.
