2.0 out of 5 stars
intro to TLM 2.0, but very breif, not worth the price, January 22, 2010
This review is from: High-level System Modeling with SystemC and TLM: Introduction and practical application of an Electronic System Level design flow (Paperback)
I just got this book yesterday. I read it through over night. This books is a 100 page Master's thesis and 30 more pages on appendix. It has brief explanation of TLM topics. It talks about UT, LT and AT, though OSCI, TLM 2.0 talks only about LT and AT. The thesis was based on TLM 2.0 draft 2. It can be introductory short book. I was looking for comprehensive, little more detail and more depth. The appendix has the snippet of codes for the case study, but OSCI TLM 2.0 package already contains more or less completed examples. It is a paper bag and in my opinion, this book should be either free in pdf (as a master thesis) or less than $10.00 for the publishing fee. Though I bought this book through my company, I do not feel good to pay so much for so little, so I am returning it.
