I love Higher Definition. All of these songs have tight lyrics and beats. Cross Movement is the best group in the whole world. My Dad works with CM and I know the artists on here. They definitely know what they're talkin bout. They surely know how to rock da mic. Higher Def is Cm's best cd. If you buy it you will think so too. My fave songs are:1,2,4,5,7,8,9,10,12,13,14: basically the whole cd. I like the songs so much, I'm tryin to memorize them all. Even my parents like them. CM rocks!!!!!!

I don't listen to Christian Rap but these guys are realy good. They also give what you don't hear today which is Hip-Hop.This is not a bad buy.

Need I Say more. CM Does it again and again. God is truly with them. Beats on point, Lyrics are Scripture, CM serving GOD, Priceless.

AMAZING !!!! I just don't see them ever putting out a bad album. In fact, with every new album they only get better and better. This album is just AMAZING! I can't say enough. I can honestly say that there isn't a track I don't like....seriously! From the 1st song to the last 2 bonus tracks..YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED !!!! The lyrics, the flow, the blazing tracks....WOW!!!!!! No one is even close to these cats...not even close to their level!!!! they never shy from the Word and their lyrical concepts and wordplay is top notch. For example, in the track; "Card shark", C.M. illustrates particular lifestyles with a deck of cards...Of course, God is the King of Hearts. In "Epiphany", they use a line from "the matrix" movie, where Neo asks why does his eyes hurt...and Morpheous responds with..."because you have never used them before"...Illustrating how blind we are, until we come to the realization of Christ.
Every song could play on secular radio (if they allowed Godly lyrics). I love so many tracks, like the song; "big words" which is produced like a 50 cent track. Don't just take my word, buy it...Today!!!!!!!

but I gotta be honest. I don't think that this CD is better than say, Heaven's Mentality. And believe me when I say that the message is the same regardless of the songs, so its all good. But if we're rating based on everything, i.e. beats, hooks, flow, etc, etc, there are only about 3 joints on here that I play over and over. Of course any song with the Ambassador stands a chance of being hot. Phanatik brought it on Epiphany, another joint I like. The Cypha was alright on this one, but not the hottest I've heard from them. That being said, CM could put out country music and I'd still cop it.

Get it! In the midst of this strung out hiphop climate, this album is needed. To all secular listeners, get this album, it wiil lead you to personal experience with God! One!

I've studied the progress of certain musical artists but, when it comes to a crew such as CM, non of it matters. these dudes bring it straight to your heart, God certainly has a vision set up for them, and for sure they are men of God whom follow his word. from Heaven's Mentality to today, The Cross Movement has came indept with words from that great book we all know of, and plunges it into your soul. from separate artists such as Flame or D.A. T.R.U.T.H. to, solo's from ppl of the crew such as Ambassador to Phanatik. These cats'll rock your soul from beginning to end with the blood annointment of Jesus.

Higher Definition by the Cross Movement is a stunning work, an album that really has no visible weakness. Cross Movement really delivers on this one. The sheer amount of Word that they put out on this album is incredible. Definitely buy this album. This is one ministry that deserves support.

Actually, this is one of the best East Coast hip-hop CD's out today... period. The Cross Movement are known for high quality rhymes and production, and this CD follows suit.

From the very first track, "Redemption", the Movement emcees hit the ground running with hit after hit. The one weak track is #9 - "On In Here" - and even this track isn't really that bad (just has a bad intro). Trust me, Cross Movement should never EVER touch CRUNK.

The lyrics are Christ-centered, which would get repetitive with any other artist except CM. This is why this isn't a weak imitation of secular rap, but truly Gospel Hip-Hop. The Gospel still comes first, the quality is superb, and the beats and production are up to date and worthy of secular radio.

I reccommend this to any rap fan, not just Christian ones.

I'm just starting to get into gospel rap, considering the new talent that's now starting to emerge. I've yet to hear a Cross Movement album that I can listen to from beginning to end without interruption, and this one is no exception. My favorite song up here is 'Lord You Are', which is one of the best 'rap songs' I've ever heard period. The lyrics are definately on point and the Message is direct and easy to understand. If they can make the lyrical content and production mesh a little better, I'm sure they can make a truly genuine and perfect album. Still, this is definately a great inclusion in the Cross Movement discography.
