Blues Power!!,

I saw Bernard at Buddy Guy's Legends on 6/25/05. He proved once again that he is one of the best guitarists today. It is a shame that he has not received the exposure he deserves. Picked up the CD that night and he autographed it after the show. "Standing on the Edge of Love" will surely be a classic and the CD is excellent overall. If you have a chance, please see this guy live. An absolutely phenomenal guitarist that has a never-ending range that keeps growing with each CD. Bernard is just entering his prime and with good health will be in his prime for decades to come. You will never view music the same!!

This is the new cd from the son of blues great luther allison. In his own right, this guy is one of the new great blues studs out there and this cd just makes that no exception.Great guitar work, good strong vocals and songwriting.I tend to like his longer songs because of his great guitar solo`s.buy this cd if your into the blues.

Long live the next generation of the blues!!,

Listening to Luther's son Bernard, I think of how intense his exposure to the blues and the electric guitar has been. Growing up with the blues and working in the studio and on the road with so many heavy hitters... How could he be anything but great? This CD is a fine example of what Bernard can do. He's written or collaborated on seven of the thirteen cuts. He's got a bit more polish and more Rock-and Roll going on than his Pop. His voice and playing style can frequently change like he's a chamelion. Still, I won't fault him for any of that because the man can PLAY!!
