Customer Questions & Answers

Customer Reviews

They work very well and are very well made.
John
If you feed the strap in through the top of the buckle (which is easy to do), the strap does not effectively tighten or stay tight.

I use these to tie my motorcycle down - and they work great.

Love these tie downs. Used them to secure items to a roof rack, hitch mounted rack and also used a couple to bind 4 camp chairs together for easier transport. You do have to make sure you feed the strap through correctly (there's an arrow etched into the buckle). The direction you're supposed to go is kind of counter intuitive and if you're backwards, you won't get a tight hold. I found that feeding the strap from below the buckle works best but is harder to do, so I just made sure I didn't pull the strap out completely when unloading. I also have ratcheting tie downs and while it's easier to get a really tight cinch with those, these are generally easier to use.

I purchased these to tie down my bicycles onto the Lund Cargo Carrier with bike attachments. The straps themselves are sturdy and durable, however the "Cambuckle (press, pull tight and release) system controlled with just thumb pressure" didn't work as well as I would have liked. It is difficult to pull tight. I called upon my old boy scout skills and lashed the tie downs with another strap to tightne them up. I recommend purchase of some ratcheting straps instead.

Hi guys, I don't mean to rip on other reviews but, well yes I do!! What the heck people, you can only thread the straps so many ways. It seems clear from some of the posts that they have the straps backwards. You need to be this high to ride this ride and you need to be this smart to use a cambuckle. Look at how bad my spellings is and I am smart enough to thread this. These work great!!

Okay tie downs. They do what their intended to do. Some other reviews mentioned that the straps slip, they do if you feed the straps through backwards otherwise I experienced no issues.

The way the strap feeds through the buckle prevents you from actually tightening them down. Go ahead and spend a little more and get better straps. Not worth the time and headache!

If you are looking for some straps to tie things down on your roof rack, this may be the thing for you. It literally ties down your things to prevent them from jumping up and out of the roof basket. A six foot strap is more than enough to tie down a couple of suit cases. I recommend this!

These worked better than the ones that came with the foam padding kayak carrier I previously purchased. They are much more responsive--all I have to do is pull on the strap.

If the straps aren't twisted, I don't hear any buzzing--which gets incredibly annoying on a hour-long drive. (while used in tandem with a J-carrier)
