Bought two and installed them. Been using them for about 6 months now and they perform as advertised. However I needed another one for my other cars two doors and realized that I could make them myself out of swimming pool noodle floaty. Went to Walmart and bought one of those noodles the kids whack each other and float around the pool on for $1.68 and took my wife's electric knife and sliced that noodle in half from top to bottom, then sliced each long piece across the middle. I now had 4 door protectors and just used two 2.5" roofing nails to nail them to the garage wall studs where the doors were hitting the wall and that worked every bit as well as the $10 each commercial ones I had bought.

Our HOA recommended this product to us... actually they required that we take down our home made protectors and order these! Glad we did, because these not only look much more professional, but they protect our doors and mirrors better than what we had made! These also come in white, but I find that the black ones help me to guide my car into the small parking stalls that come with most condo and apartment garages these days. They don't come with the heavy masking tape or screws needed to instal them, so you need to get that yourself, but for the price, this is an excellent purchase. I highly recommend this to all my city dwelling friends!! They come in a huge box, so hey, Amazon... let's get green and size down your shipping boxes to something more reasonable!!! Save a tree, okay?!!!

I've been banging up my sheetrock and door ends for years. These were exactly what I was looking for. Installation was a cinch. The bumpers are made of a perfect rubber which absorbs impacts nicely. Great product.

My order just arrived in the mail today. I probably should have been careful about this, but was suprised that this item does not come as a pair. It certainly looks like it will do the job nicely, but I'll have to place a second order to pick up another (which means I'm out a second shipping charge as well).

Another note....while the item may look like solid rubber in pictures, it is actually hollow on the back side, with ribs to help fill the empty space. This is neither good nor bad, just an interesting feature. I suppose it softens up the guard a bit for any inadvertant door impact.

This product is good for me and my car as protect it when I open the door in my garage

We have a Suburban with two inches to spare in our garage. It protects the bumper and wall beautifully. It works.

Product was well pkg. and arrived on time. Mounted it on the side on the garage wall and it works as discribed.

Simple installation. Worked well. Just what I needed after replacing our over 10year old car with a brand spanking new one. I wanted to avoid all the scratches on the door and garage wall. Works like a charm!

We have a narrow garage and were always hitting the door on the wall when we got out of the car. This product works great! It also helps to know how far to pull into the garage.

These are actually very good protectors. They are made of the right density rubber, they are just soft enough to absorber the impact without damaging the doors.
