Medieval Scottish romance at its best. Excellent characters, fascinating detail about places and the period. Totally absorbing. Very sad when after discovering Amanda Scott's books I had a nice big pile to read, and now have to wait for the next release.

I enjoyed this book very much. I recommended it to several friends. The "wedding" in the book surprised me. This book also had suspense in it which I enjoyed.
