Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

It's a Masters Tournament that will always be remembered. Not for the tragic events that befell third round leader Greg Norman, but for the remarkable Sunday play of Champion Nick Faldo.

Join the elite field of the Masters Tournament from the opening tee shot Thursday to the final 36 holes of virtual match play between Faldo and Norman. You will share Norman's excitement of the first round when the 1995 Player of the Year ties the course record with a 63 to take a two shot margin over lefty Phil Michelson. Norman doubles his lead to four shots Friday and six Saturday over Faldo, but will it be enough for the Australian to earn his First Green Jacket? Follow Faldo's meticulous Sunday finale as he demonstrates what it takes to be called the Masters Champion.

The official video of the 1996 Masters contains pictures not seen on television, plus exclusive interviews with the world's finest players. Experience the excitement and the tradition of an April weekend in Augusta, Georgia with your own copy of Highlights of the 1996 Masters Tournament.

4.0 out of 5 stars Flado's great round overshadowed by Norman's collapse., August 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Highlights of the 1996 Masters Tournament [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Years from now, golf fans will look back at the 1996 Masters as the greatest collapse in Greg Norman's infamous carreer of final round failures. Norman clearly played the best through the first 3 rounds as he marched to a 6 shot lead, but, as the saying goes, the Masters begins on the back nine on Sunday, where Nick Faldo played some of the most precice golf in the history of Augusta National. Although this Masters will undoubtedly be remembered Norman's folly, Nick Faldo deserves credit for the exceptional golf required to win a Masters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Golf!, January 10, 1999

If you love golf and love the Masters this is a must. Learn a lesson in never giving up from Nick Faldo. Learn a lesson on good sportsmanship from Greg Norman. Norman goes into the final day with a 6 shot lead and loses by 5. Anyone who plays golf knows how this can happen and has had it happen to them. Watch how Greg Norman handles this situation and you will respect him as a golfer and a sportsman! This is great golf!
