THE TOWER OF BABEL, which hasn't even been staged as of this writing, is yet another example of Mr. Sloate's energetic, gripping, and well-balanced writing. His other work, THE NEW PICASSO (also available for download at amazon.com), is striking and beautiful. Both shows are quite different but possess the same intelligent and moving sensibility that seems to be missing from a lot of musical theatre these days. Let's hope this is an indication of what Broadway musicals are becoming. Thank you, Mr. Sloate, for your creations! Bravo!!!
