Design and Derivation Units,
By "prakashck" (Mauritius) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Highway Engineering Handbook: Building and Rehabilitating The Infrastructure (Hardcover)
I own a copy of this item. It is a great book that is very helpful in the design of roads and in the assessment of existing road networks. The version I own has all design calculations and derivations in Imperial Units. It is helpful to have a conversion table at the beginning. But an SI Unit version would have been more appropriate for engineers more conversant with SI units than Imperials units. Seeing the right figures gives a better feel and appreciation of the calculations. I would request an SI Unit version of this textbook. Thank you
