5.0 out of 5 stars ...MY FRIENDS ARE GONNA BE THERE TOO!, January 18, 2006
This review is from: Highway to Hell (Audio CD)
Just a quick drop on the ground to all my deceased friends. JOHNNY! We all miss you, see you underground kid!

OK, anyway... HIGHWAY TO HELL was the last one by cosmic friend BON SCOTT. The title track was amazingly a fitting title for the mans last album, as he would die tragically by choking on his own vomit less than a year after its release. We are all sure that he must be making it, in the Promised Land, looking over my buddy Uncle J. This album is great.. as are all AC/DC albums. It was the first album to really sell in the U.S. due to the money that went into its production. Compared to earlier albums this one has a lot more polish on it, but it does not hurt the bands integrity at all. The title track was the big single, but there were other big ones here too, TOUCH TO MUCH is sort of like Satans answer to disco (AC/DC has lots of rhythms that are strangely danceable) WALK ALL OVER YOU is another good example. NIGHT PROWLER is a twisted blues jam. BON SCOTT is sleaze rock. He created it. He did it right. God Damn!

5.0 out of 5 stars Shazboz Nano-Nano Simply the Best and Last of Bon!, July 12, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Highway to Hell (Audio CD)
This is simply one of the best albums that Bon even did with AC/DC! Angus' solos are incredibly all the way through the whole cd starting with Highway to Hell and ending with the controversial Night Prowler. If you listen very hard...at the end of night prowler, bon says "Shazboz Nano-Nano." This line was taken from Robin Williams from his show "Mork and Mindy". Bon was a huge Robin Williams fan. That line means that you are siging off. And Bon added that in just for a joke. but he did not know thta he really was signing off with AC/DC and his life. A true collectors item. GO buy IT!!! It's great!
