The bulb was nice and bright and worked fine, but burned out after about two and a half months.

Did not receive this product even after two emials to company. Did not even get any respose from company, would NOT reccommend this compay to anybody.

This light bulb just works! The past bulb like this I used lasted for five years or so, so I expect my latest to do the same. This seller was accurate in their descriptions and I had no problems in installing the lamp.

Could not find anywhere local. Order was filled and sent more rapid than expected.

I tried for several weeks to find this bulb at a local store, with no luck. A random stop at a Staples store did finally locate it, but for $15!

The price (including shipping) was great, and shipping was fast. The bulb was the right size, and three months later is still burning bright.

I just could not find this at my local Home Depot nor Lowes. But here at Amazon.com my search ended when I typed in 20 Watt Halogen Light Bulb / Bi-Pin G4 Base / 12 Volt / 20 Watt JC Type Light Bulb. Delivery took just about 4 days, well packaged, and the pair of them arrived damage free.

Bought this in June 2010 and it lasted until August 2011 with about 1 to 2 hours of use per day. Estimating, I'd say it had a life of about 500-700 hours during that time, far short of the 2,000 hour life listed on the product page. Still, it was fairly inexpensive.

hard to beat the convenience of finding and buying the right halogen bulb at your fingertips on amazon but this bulb burned out after a few hours (!) of use. the other halogen bulb i bought at the same time was from bulbrite and that one did better but also burned out after just a few months of light use. should have bought a six pack, or found a better manufacturer. apparently it does not pay to buy the cheapest product out there.

fits and works as promised, only had it for a month or so yet so din't know about longevity yet.

This tiny bulb gives years of bright light for your task lamp. I am a reader and most of my evenings are spent buried in a book. This little light bulb gives me bright, concentrated light without eye strain from my reading lamp. When I decide to do any needlework, it also makes keeping up with stitches easier to see. Good things do come in small packages.
