About the Author

Elias Davidsson has pursued research in international law, human rights law and international criminal law. He obtained a research grant from the Icelandic Red Cross for a study on the effects of economic sanctions on human rights and had a number of substantial articles in the field of public international law, human rights law and international criminal law published in peer-reviewed law journals.

Davidsson was born in Palestine in 1941, in a neighborhood of Jerusalem where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived in peace side by side. Th ese early years left a deep mark on him. He has since lived in France, Germany, the United States, Iceland and Switzerland.

In parallel to his professional occupations, Davidsson has for many years been involved in activism and research regarding social and global justice, peace, anti-racism and human rights. He is co-founder of the Association Iceland-Palestine and a supporter of a democratic State in the whole of historic Palestine for Muslims, Christians and Jews. He rejects the existence of a Jewish state as incompatible with human rights norms. His writings include articles on multinational corporations, the IMF and the World Bank, the Palestine question, Zionism, economic sanctions and international law.

In 2002, he started research on the events of September 11, 2001, and founded the Icelandic chapter of the 9/11 truth movement.

Before I came across the book "Hijacking America's Mind on 9/11" by Elias Davidsson, I believed in the official narrative on 9/11. I read the book twice. It shattered completely my former belief.

I'm no expert on 9/11 and do not believe in esoteric theories. My attitude towards 9/11 has been marked by a certain curiosity, but also by healthy skepticism. When I initially stumbled across articles questioning the official 9/11 narrative, I just read them and put them away. With Davidsson's book, it was different: it immediately captivated me.

Having hitch-hiked extensively all over the United States and studied international relations at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, I am somehow familiar with how American society ticks. I have noted that after every severe calamity in the US, an immediate inquiry is initiated to determine the facts. When it comes to airplane crashes, it befalls on the National Transportation Security Board (NTSB) to determine the circumstances in which the airplane crashed: the plane is pieced together from the debris, the cause of the crash is determined and a public report is issued regarding the circumstances of the crash. The U.S. government did not, however, permit the NTSB to investigate the 9/11 crashes. It had to be carried out, exceptionally, by the more secretive FBI, which has no obligation to publish its findings. Why did the U.S. government insist on such unprecedented secrecy?

Elias Davidsson's book may provide an answer to this question. His book is a very thorough study of specific aspects of the 9/11 events that have hitherto been neglected.

I am always grateful for new research relating to 9/11 that is based on primary sources and that is meticulous in its use of these sources. This is the sort of work that keeps its value for a long time and that allows us to make solid progress. Davidsson's book fits this category. This book is based on years of painstaking research, and it is a keeper. Davidsson shows there is no solid evidence that any of the "hijackers" hijacked anything on 9/11, or that they were even on the planes. His proposed solution to the 9/11 phone calls, allegedly from the planes, differs from David Ray Griffin's and, like DRG's, is necessarily still at the level of hypothesis, but he forces us to reflect on the nature of the calls and on their extremely peculiar defects. A very fine addition to the evidence of lethal fraud on 9/11.

Elias Davidsson's book makes it impossible to believe the official U.S. government story about 9/11. The author painstakingly and meticulously documents that there is no evidence whatsoever that 19 Muslims hijacked four planes on 9/11/2001. The author examines the main supposed evidence for the official story--the telephone calls supposedly made from people inside the hijacked planes, and demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that the calls were not reporting actual real events; to believe the official story one would have to believe multiple unbelievable things, such as that a flight attendant would speak perfectly calmly about an ongoing murder of somebody near her. The author proves that the FBI and other government authorities engaged in a cover-up and fabricated evidence. The author also discusses why the perpetrators of this monstrous crime have not been prosecuted in a court of law and why the mass media have not exposed this fact: the most powerful people in the United States made 9/11 happen because they needed a "new Pearl Harbor" to use as a pretext for escalating military aggression of the American Empire. Until one reads this book, one cannot claim to have an opinion that is based on facts (as opposed to mere government assertions) about whether or not 19 Muslims hijacked four planes on 9/11/2001.

I have read several books on the topic of the tragic events of that day. This is one of the better ones. I must agree with other reviewers about the way the book is written. There are some typos and punctuation problems but the book itself is very intriguing. There is some new information I have never come across before and it kept me wanting to read more and more. It is not the easiest book to follow along with but I was able to understand most of it.

Like Mr. Davidsson, I have researched and written on aspects of the events of 9/11. In this book, he has upheld my respect for the thoroughness with which he writes.

For example, Davidsson goes into detail about each alleged call from the alleged flights. Read what he has to say and you cannot help but get it into your head that those calls were not about real hijackings.

Read also about the sloppy manner in which "evidence" was collected about planes and passengers and you will get a convincing legal argument that simple rules of evidence were not followed.

Read the whole book and you will forget about the official theory, if you haven't already.

Well done, extensive research. This a must for any serious 9/11 investigator. I have at least 25 other books on 9/11 and this may be the best. Good all round information on what really happened that day.
