When I listen to this album I think many of the songs would have fit perfectly in a satire play about the history, politics, and recurring characters, and customs of Argentina. The group borrows freely from different types of Argentine, Uruguayan and Brazilian music. This is a band that couldn't care less about not trying to be, and end, up a poor imitation of US or British rock bands, as most Argentine groups sadly do nowadays. The album is appreciated for both the lyrics and the music. Non-Spanish speakers may have some trouble making sense of the lyrics, but try to get an Argentine to help you out. Highly Recommended along with "Libertinaje" (their previous album).

Hijos de Culo by Bersuit is a great album from the first song to the last. It is about the people we encounter in daily life , the way we relate with these people and the effect they have in our lives. I had the opportunity to watch Bersuit live at Universal Amphatheater, they are great performers. I recomend this album to people who truly know how to appreciate music.

its about time people start reconizing bersuit as a band with great talent. Their originality and sound is one of a kind. Now with their latest cd "Hijos del Culo" their talent really seeps through. Its energetic, gets you pumped, and makes you crazzy over rock en espanol. Its a great cd!!

In my opinion, the most creative, true to music and political ideology band of latin america. Hear it for yourself.
