Any admirer of Lawren Harris and the Group of Seven will love this book ... If you are a plein air painter, you will find this book meaningful as an 'approach' to the art of 'landscape painting' ... and if you love to hike and experience places in some form beyond photography, you too will greatly appreciate this compilation. I love this book.

This book is a little gem, with excellent reproductions of drawings and paintings as well as a wealth of biographical and narrative information. If you like the Group of Seven, you'll love this book. The only hitch is how long it took to receive a book that is pretty much out of print (about three weeks). But it was worth the wait.
