wonderful
This is a great book. I live close to this area and thanks to this book I have hiked many of the trails. This book has been valuable and I highly recommend it.

It was OK
The book is pretty good an informative, but the maps were small and black and write. I later found a website cumberlandtrail.org which is much more informative and has better and more distinct maps in color.

Despite the 2000 print date, I've found info on most everything I've hiked to still be reliable. This well-written guide is the best source of info I've found for hiking at South Cumberland. It would be nice to see an updated printing to include Bridgestone/Firestone Centennial Wilderness, but despite being 10 years old, this book is still well worth the money.
