About the Author
Sonia Buist was born in India of English parents and educated in Scotland. Now a physician, teacher and researcher at the Oregon Health & Science University, she has lived and hiked in Oregon for 40 years. Emily Keller spent 10 years as a country doctor and 20 years on the pediatric faculty at the Oregon Health & Science University. She then sailed the world with her husband Paul, with whom she has published three travel books.
