From the Back Cover

The mountains of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable geothermal experience. From sylvan streamside pools to hand-crafted bathhouses, Hiking Hot Springs in the Pacific Northwest shows you 126 of the finest natural hot soaking pools and guides you to eighty-five scenic hikes that either lead to or begin near springs. Dip your toes in a roadside soaking pool overlooking smooth desert playa in southeast Oregon; day hike to steaming pools in Washington's Olympic National Park; dip in hot tidal pools on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia; or savor a post-hike soak in Idaho's protected wilderness areas. All but a few of these gems are located on prime public land within national forests and parks. Inside you'll find: details on the quality of each soaking pool and its water temperature and scenic setting; hike descriptions, difficulty ratings, and trail lengths; easy-to-read maps and clear directions; information on elevation, seasonal access, and restrictions. (6 x 9, 360 pages, b&w photos, maps)

This review is from: Hiking Hot Springs in the Pacific Northwest, 3rd (Paperback)
The only complaint I have is that the Maps to get to the springs are kinda confusing. although I have yet to actually use them to get to a hot springs.

what I have noticed is that there is a really close up shot (map) of the area where the springs are but it totally doesn't give you any reference points that are known to someone who doesn't live in those direct areas. what I would wish to see in this book is a zoomed out map (like state wide) with an inset of the smaller more exact map.
