By A Customer
This review is from: Hiking a Round (Paperback)
Hiking A Round is an excellent tool for those interested in
the outdoors, music and fun sing-a-longs. Ellinwood is a
scholar, a professor of music at Lynchburg College in
south-central Virginia. He is also one of the most
accomplished hikers around. He has completed the Appalachian
Trail twice, the Pacific Crest Trail once, and has now begun
the Continental Divide Trail. He drew on his considerable
experience and expertise to write and edit this book. Hiking
A Round is the culmination of his research and efforts in
his two areas of passion - music & hiking. The book covers
many different styles of song, with relevant explanations as
to why certain songs were included. It is a work that is
sure to please any hiking and/or singing enthusiast,
