This review is from: Hiking Utah, 3rd (State Hiking Guides Series) (Paperback)
I like the Falcon Guides more than the others. The descriptions are always good, as are the directions, and the maps were better than in most guidebooks. But in this one, the maps are improved. They're topographic in a simple and adequate way (we're not aiming artillery!) and the UTM grid is shown so if you have a GPS unit that shows UTM coordinates it's a plus. It's not that you'd probably ever use the feature but it's a safety factor like extra food and water.
