Great product for pegs!, November 1, 2011

I have a violin that is over 200 years old and the pegs were slipping quite a bit and were very jerky while trying to tune. After the Hill Peg Compound was applied and the strings were restrung (one peg at a time, of course), turning the pegs was very smooth and easy and they held in place without any slipping at all. I was amazed that this product worked so well, especially with how little of the compound was used (this little stick will last many years), and would highly recommend it to anybody who has any kind of pesky pegs.
