One of Murray's best--a classic,

Most of David Murray's albums are at a very high plateau of quality. This one goes even beyond that, into classic status. The first song is a monumental recorded performance,and the rest is really great too. The presence of the great bassist Richard Davis is the difference--his bowed solos are magnificent. He is the greatest bassist on the planet,and his playing here seems to spur Murray on to ever greater heights.
