Book Description

March 4, 2008
It's not a stretch to say that more has been written about Hillary, pro and con, than probably any other living American politician. So in the build-up to the 2008 presidential election, what is not needed is just another book about Candidate Hillary. Fortunately, this expose is much more-a hybrid product that includes not only cutting-edge reporting, revealing facts and fictions about the junior senator from New York, but does it in a dual book-and-movie format. David N. Bossie, former chief investigator for the US House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, reveals all the must-know details about Hillary's life and career, exposing the truth about her conflicts in the past and her liberal plot for the future. Bossie has previously produced such acclaimed documentaries as Border War(www.borderwarmovie.com).

5.0 out of 5 stars Watch the movie, read the words and decide for yourself., March 3, 2008
This review is from: Hillary: The Politics of Personal Destruction (Hardcover)
To fans and followers of Hillary, this book may not matter as much of it is "old news". However, David N. Bossie, former chief investigator for the US House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, spent a lot of time gathering former Hillary/Bill supporters (and still Democrats) as well as talking to others that the Clintons had surrounded themselves with such as Dick Morris and David Geffen plus others affected by their actions.

The movie is very powerful especially Billy Dale's story as the former Director of the White House Travel Office and Frank Connor's son who describes how his dad was killed by a bomb set off by FALN terrorists, the group pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office.

There are also details and documentation of the Hollywood fund raiser setup by Peter Paul along with Stan Lee (yes, of Spiderman comics) and many other stories.

Whether you are Democrat or Republican, the movie and book are worth viewing and reading just to see the type of person who is running for President of the United States.

Decide for yourself!

4.0 out of 5 stars Dozens of Hillary's critics review why she is unqualified for high office, May 31, 2008
This review is from: Hillary: The Politics of Personal Destruction (Hardcover)
Since those who love and fervently support Hillary will never read this book but still feel competent to denounce it, the audience for this book has to be in two other areas. The largest audience, I believe, will be those who already dislike her and keep reading the evidence against her with a reeling shock that she can get such glowing press and praise. I guess I more or less am in this camp. The second group will be those who are not quite Hillary supporters, but for some reason are willing to toy with the notion of supporting her. Or maybe have stepped over the line into supporting her because they are so disgusted with the GOP, Bush, and McCain.

If you know anyone in this last group, get them a copy of this book and help them wake up. I know it appears right now that Hillary has lost to Obama, and maybe she has this cycle. But the Clintons have no intention of going anywhere. First of all, as of this date, she has not given up trying to wrest the nomination from Obama despite the impossible arithmetic. Second, she has a wonderful position to keep running as a Senator from New York. Third, even if she doesn't become President, she is still on the national scene and think what she could do as Senate Majority Leader. You see what I mean?

The book contains an accompanying DVD of a movie about Hillary. The movie has more than 40 people talking about Hillary's problems and scandals. The Clinton camp loves to say that these are old news and since there were no indictments there is obviously nothing there. However, when you go through all the scandals, one after the other, it is obvious that there really is something there and it isn't just the ravings of a "Right Wing Conspiracy" as she and Bill love to claim.

The book is a more detailed version of the movie. It starts with a discussion of her fund raising scandals and asks why she hasn't been indicted. Chapter 2 talks about the supposed scandal at the White House Office that became a scandal for Hillary and her friends known as Travelgate. That is, it was done not because there was really anything wrong with Billy Dale, but because Hillary's friends wanted to run that office and make some bucks. Chapter 3 asks why Hillary, the great feminist, stood by Bill against all the women who have made allegations of mistreatment at his hands.

Chapter 4 talks about her disdain for the military and support for measures that will leave us less protected. Her political dancing away from her own votes to support the efforts against Terror should be on one of those Dancing Competition Shows. Chapter 6 assesses Hillary's lack of production as a Senator. Chapter 7 talks about the Clintons lack of progress against Al Qaeda, but also about the FALN terrorists whom Bill pardoned on his last day in office to help Hillary with certain Puerto Rican voters in New York. That is, they made the calculation that freeing these criminals would help them with this block more than it would hurt them with others. Cynical.

Chapter 8 lets those who worked for the Clintons tell their story. It isn't a pretty one. Chapter 9 lets women against Hillary speak and tell us why the idea that all women support her is false. Chapter 10 raises the issues of what Hillary really is. She has posed as so many things over the decades that it is hard to get a fix on the real person. Is she really a conservative (only if you are far left), is she the moderate she claimed to be when the campaign began? Or is her new move left the real Hillary? The last chapter lets each of the contributors ask one question they would like Hillary to answer. When you consider how she might answer these dozens of questions you see even more clearly the problems we would face with her back in the White House or in a major position of power.

I think it is worth the read and the movie worth viewing. Yes, it is clearly not a balanced look at Hillary. In fact, it is downright critical. But that is part of the mix, isn't it.
