4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but the Hillel web site has modst of the information, May 22, 2001

This review is from: Hillel Guide to Jewish Life on Campus, 14th Edition (Paperback)
This book gives a fairly good profile of the Jewish population and Jewish activities on a number of college campus throughut the country (and indeed the world). It also profiles Jewish studies courses on each campus and opportunities for kosher meals and religious observance. However, the book is not updated annually. Furthermore, the information in the book is available on the Hillel web site.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Help in the College Selection Process, January 23, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Hillel Guide to Jewish Life on Campus, 14th Edition (Paperback)
Both of my sons used this book to help them in their college search process. The book contains information about almost every college and university in the United States (and several in other countries). The information includes the number of Jewish students on campus and the availablility of Kosher dining facilities. There is also a synopsis of the activities offered at Hillel, what other Jewish groups are on campus, and a discussion of the colleges policies concerning Jewish holidays. It was truly helpful and comprehensive.
