I ordered this piece from two different Merchants and both times the piece was delivered the top cabinet compartment which is one piece had extensive damage. Not sure if it occured in the assembly line or in route to be delivered but the piece is not constructed of wood in any way particle board so any mishandling creates cracks and chips,the image looks great on the website but buyer beware you get what you pay for.

I searched and searched the "net" for a sideboard and found this on several other sites, but Amazon had the best price. It arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble, just attach the legs. It is lovely and perfectly fits in the space I have for it. Definitely I good buy!
