Unique product,

This review is from: Himalayan Salt Crystal Tea Light Candleholder (Misc.)
This crystal salt candle holder puts out a beautiful glow from the flame of a simple tea light candle. It is not only beautiful, it is very, very safe. The tea light candle sits deep within the 3" high holder, and the holder itself is relatively heavy (1.5 lbs), so almost impossible to accidentally knock over. Inutitively, I enjoy this candle lamp much more than other types of candles/candle holders. Perhaps it is the negative ions--perhaps not. But I have one in my office, and it is almost always lit while I am working. Try it, you'll like it!

Interesting decor but poorly made,

There are a lot of claims about salt lamps and candle-holders and their health benefits. I have no idea if they're true or not. I can't say that I've felt any better or any worse since I've had my lamp or this candle-holder, but I like them. I bought the lamp for home and then bought this candle-holder for my office at work. I think it has an interesting look and is much safer than a lot of holders because it is very heavy and the candle sits way down in it. It's unlikely to be easily knocked over and the flame is away from everything.
That said, after I had it awhile, it developed a problem. It was either made in two halves or it was broken and repaired. Whichever, after you use it awhile, the glue used becomes VERY obvious and starts crumbling and falling around the table it's on. It just ruins the look of it. I'd drop it down to 2 stars if I could figure out how.

This is a very heavy and stable candleholder. It gives off a muted soft orange glow and is very relaxing.

I just received the holder I ordered. I had such an emotional reaction! It is so beautiful, so natural, I had to cup it in my hands, close my eyes and say a silent prayer. I don't know if it will have all the health attributes ascribed to it, but I like thinking it is possible. It's all good. And it works perfectly for the tall candle holders on my coffee table although I will have to drill a hole in the bottom to place it on the small stake. I've ordered more and plan to put them all around my Thanksgiving table. Beautiful, functional, sturdy, pure, ancient, spiritual and inexpensive! They will look frosty & cool in summer and frosty and, well, frosty in winter. I may build myself an igloo with them!

If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would just for the customer service. Unfortunately Fed Ex lost my package and as soon as it was discovered this company sent out another package and included a nice extra to make up for my inconvenience. The lights are large and heavy for the price and look alittle rough which is what I like about them. I have been burning a tea light in one every night as I go to bed. This has helped my nasal allergies.

candles of a different nature,

I believe in earth, wind and fire because, I'm a Virgo sign. I like anything natural that has to do with mother nature and earth. These candles of a different nature are not made of wax, they are made of sea salt, where the lakes were dried up and left just salt. The buyer, sends information about their creation and justifies his claims. Some claims about the sea salt candles is that it brings you serenity, comfort, relaxation and clears your stress with negative ions. I bought one 3 years ago at an indoor swapmeet, and was hurridly told about their attributes, but now that I have actually papers justifying what I needed to know, it helped me to understand their real individualism from ordinary wax candles. I bought 16 of them. I gave most of them for xmas gifts to people like myself who believe in nature, and natural products. I also copied the paperwork sent to me by the buyer, so the candles can be understood clearly and specifically.
If you are a person into scents, these have none, because the candles you use are tea candles that sit inside of these odd shaped almost round salt holders. The only thing you will be experiencing will be the cause and affect, which is what you really need, not just some scent. Now the buyer, or owner of these sea salt candles can be a jerk. So probably next time I will buy the same product, but with another buyer.

Nice little candle holder,
This review is from: Himalayan Salt Crystal Tea Light Candleholder (Misc.)
I cannot attest to any health benefits, but it's a nice little candle holder for tealights or votives. It's a little misshapen and there are some cracks around it, but I guess it's part of it's "natural" appearance. I wish I could have picked out my own, but it still looks nice and I'm keeping it. I collect crystals and it sort of reminds me of a rose quartz. I'm burning tealights in mine and they burn very nicely. Gives a nice glow and is warm to the touch by the top and around the middle of the side, but the bottom remains cool and does not burn the surface it's on.

I thought I would bought several as gifts. When I received them, they are not packed in the box as shown in the picture. Taking them out, some of them got wired shape. They are not presentable as gifts at all... Plus reading one of the reviews that they do not last long, I think it is such a bad idea to buy so many (I bought six). It does not make sense to return these heavy stuff since shipping is not free...
