Editorial Reviews

Review

Music of 'Hum Tum' justifies the claim that when it comes to the music of a Yash Chopra film, there are no comparisons. Extremely peppy and trendy, the music of Hum Tum is bound to get popular with each passing day. Add to it the great times that both Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee are having at the box-office off late, there are no reasons as to why both the musical sales as well the movie tickets sales shouldn't take a flying start. --bollywoodhungama.com

The am in love with the enticing song in the soundtrack is "Hum Tum" which reverts to true Jatin-Lalit / Yash Raj style. The welcoming element in this song is the singing by Babul Supriyo and Alka. Musically the song is also a sound composition that is bound to be on the charts somewhere. There is a bit more experimenting in this slow song in comparison to the rest of the album, even though Jatin-Lalit have composed songs similar in nature to it in the past. An instrumental of the song follows later and realistically this song should have opened up the album.
