A MUST READ When I first saw the title of Maryanne's new book Hindsight: What You Need to Know Before You Drop Your Drawers, I was immediately drawn to one of the most important of all inquiries that anyone could ever make, What the heck do you NEED to know before you drop your drawers? She cleverly and dramatically illustrates that when you charge forward into intimate relations without first asking a few simple questions, you are guaranteed not only to have your heart broken, but you may destroy or even lose your life. Her stories (which are incredibly funny and treacherous) illustrated her 6 tools so clearly that I could not help using these tools in everyday life as well as in the area of partnership. Maryanne is amazing. She has the ability to share hard core, real-life lessons combined with her hysterical sense of humor and the ability to entertain through storytelling. While this book is self-help, you will feel simultaneously like you are reading a juicy, can't-put-down, novel. At the same time, it will be like looking into a mirror, one in which you lovingly can see what you have been doing in the realm of relationships that, well, hasn't been working so well--and she provides immediate skills for what to do right.
This book is SO important and a huge step forward in stopping the insanity of today's dating patterns. NOW is the time to take responsibility for your love life....a little HINDSIGHT can go a long way!

"Hindsight" is a fine addition to any sexuality or women's issues collection.

I received your book on Monday in preparation for an interview for your guest appearance on a Radio show Hosted by Cindi-Sansone Braff, Grant Me a Higher Love. I have read so many books in the last year on my quest to try and figure out , why my relationships don't seem to work. Or "why" I keep picking Mr. Wrong! When I began to read your introduction I seemed to find that I am not the "ONLY ONE" who had lived a life in turmoil, based on "old programing" "All Men just want one thing" etc. It's funny when you think your life is so different from the rest of the world, only to find out it's not really that uncommon! This book made me Laugh, and Cry, but most of all has inspired me to look ahead, and create a better me. I liked your analogy about "falling into a hole". I has given me insight to the fact that I don't have to beat myself up over poor choices, just recognize them and gain perpective!
I did do all the required "homework" or exercises in this book, and for the first time, I was able to SEE them materially on paper! It makes sense! I have lists, hung up everywhere!
ANd who would have thought to ask THOSE questions before getting involved with someone! Like I said I have read 100's books pertaining to the Law of Attraction and LOVE,searching for THE ANSWERS. BUT, I must say MaryAnne, your book is the one that will change me and my life for the better, and has helped me SEE, that I have to learn to REALLY love myself! It is a hard, cold look at a few relationship stories that really made me THINK!!!
This book is not only for Women but a must read for MEN as well! Very informative and helpful. The Tools in this book are BENIFICIAL, before you enter any relationship. The learning and recognizing, from past relationships and self defeating patterns and behaviors, is CRUCIAL. Gives me HOPE for what I beleive will be, in the future, a happy healthy relationship, starting with ME! Thank - YOU!
