I love the plant. Unfortunately, my plants did not come alone. They came with unwanted "bugs". I was naive about the plant. I assumed these white powdery spots were upcoming flowers. I was so excited! My new plants has buds already. Then, the inevitable happened. The white furry spots multiplied rapidly. Then my beautiful plant started wilting and drying out. My plant that I was so proud of now resides at the landfill. Mealy bugs are common with these plants, please check your plants thoroughly.

I love this plant. It was in perfect condition when I got it yesterday. I ordered two plants and have repotted it to a larger pot. It looks good now. I hope I can keep it alive. I wonder if it will multiply in the pot?
I have ordered seven different plants lately and love them all except for one. I love the service I recieved from Hills Gardens. I will order again. Wanda, Waskom Texas.

I was very pleased with my purchase of Hoya "rope plant". It arrived in 3 days, excellent packing, very healthy and lots larger than I pictured. I am truly pleased. Will buy another to make a hanging basket.

well packed, still moist when it arrived. when you order a few plants ( and hirt's has a lot of cool ones) the shipping is very cheap considering the plants ship monday and usually arrive tuesday or wednesday. the "ropes" were healthy, shiny, and are happy in their new hanging basket.

I received this plant as a Christmas gift last December. It was in fairly good shape despite being packed only in a box with some packing materiel and left for several hours on my mom's doorstep in the middle of the cold Nebraska winter. I repotted the plant and it didn't to anything until about 3 weeks ago. I had put in a fertilizer spike about a month ago hoping to coax it into action. I am not sure if it was the fertilizer or a good dose of sun but it has been rapidly growing for several weeks now and looks beautiful. I can't wait to see if it will flower!!

I used to grow rope plants many years ago and I wanted to start again. I ordered the hanging basket rope plant, it arrived and appeared fine, but I did noticed that one of the leaves was a little schriveled. Well as the weeks went on, the plant did not grow and just became more and more sickly. It died on me and actually infected a few other plants around it. I did not contact Hirts, because I was concerned that the rest of my house plants would also die. Guess I should have purchased from a local nursery. I would advise anyone to be very careful,

Maybe I was being unrealistic but I expected the rope plant to begin growing like a rope. I purchased the plant a year ago and it is exactly the same size as when I purchased it. The plant is healthy and looks nice but it does not seem to grow any longer. I purchased it in hopes of laying it over my window sill for a dramatic effect. Currently this is not possible. For anyone thinking of buying the plant just know that it will probably take years to grow to a decent size.

shipped on the 16, arrived the 18th with a warmer in the package. Two 4 1/2 in plants packed very securely, arrived in great shape. This is second time I have ordered from Hirt's Gardens and have been very happy with their plants. No bugs, very healthy. Not a leaf broken in shipping, great work on the part of their packers. Great quality plants. Better than 5 star
