This review is from: The Hindu World (Religions of the World) (Hardcover)
This is an excellent book to introduce the complex world fo Hinduism to a western audience.Written in simple language and illustrated with amazing phtographs, it takes the reader on a journey through the world's oldest faith. the book describes festivals, contrasts the thinking on young hindus with traditional beleigf systems, describes how to visit a temple, and even touches upon the seeming contradictions in the Hindu culture. At the end of the book is an excellent bibliography too, for those interested in further reading.
