Fun Stationary,

I saw this stationary and just had to have it. I own the Little Book of Hindu Gods & Goddesses (sorry, may have gotten the name wrong) with this artwork and I just love it.
Most excellent for small children as actual images of some of the god/desses can be a bit intimidating. These are not only colorful but something a child could easily relate to. (they can learn 'the other side' when they're a bit older). My thanks to the Artist! xox MEF

Sanjay Patel's Goddesses Stationary Set is adorable... I loved his book, The Little Book of Hindu Dieties and went on to purchase the 2 stationary sets and the journal.
The Stationary reminds me of the vintage kits I would buy @ flea markets... cute graphics and a little area to write your quick note - remember mailing letters?!? There are matching envelopes and little stickers too. Very talented guy and a wonderful artist... pick up a set and write a letter to Grandma! ;) gb

cute stationery, if a little school girl-ish,
This review is from: Hindu goddesses (Paperback)
The artwork and packaging are just as advertised. If anyone has seen the awesome animated film Sita Sings the Blues, the graphic work on this stationery set is very similar. Imaginative depictions of the goddesses, bold colors, colorful combinations, and a kick of fun, school girl charm (like when Hello Kitty stationery was a big thing). The envelopes do look a bit like a child's birthday party invite, so beware of using this stationery set if you're in the post-college crowd. Still, the set is a decent size (8 sheets of paper, 6 corresponding envelopes and loads of stickers), value for money, etc.

I bought this set and Sanjay Patel's Hindu goddesses set and I'm very happy with the purchase. The paper is thick enough that a rollerball Pilot pen does not show through the other side. Both sides are very usable and the designs don't take up so much space that you find it hard to write.
The designs are so beautifully designed and incredibly cute. I'm sure it's not easy to turn Kali into the cutest thing ever, but Mr. Patel has accomplished it! If you're into stationery (fun stuff is somewhat hard to find in this day of homemade cards flooding the market) then I highly recommend purchasing this set and the set of Hindu goddesses. I will probably end up purchasing another few sets and framing some of the designs.

Many are the ways in which the formless, timeless concept of gods illustrated for common people. Sanjay Patel uses a newer technique and it is great. It will be attractive to the new generation
