The British love their icons of television just as much as the Americans love theirs. When someone mentions the name Frazer Hines, most will remember him as Jamie McCrimmon from Doctor Who but he is much more than that.

In his new book, Hines Sight: The Life and Loves of One of Britain's Favourite Sons, you will read stories from his early years as a child actor to being Jamie McCrimmon to Emmerdale Farms and beyond. Instead of just quoting facts, he talks about what really went on and does it in a way that is light hearted but also serious. Be it about his childhood, his relationships with women or his love of horses and cricket.

The book is very well writen and is a must for anyone who is interested in reading about one of Britain's true shining stars.
