Hip Hop For Kids is a challenging dvd for kids. The dvd was designed by 2 dance professionals and we hope kids will repeat chapters over and over again to master each dance combination. There is also a fun section where the kid performers teach their own favorite steps. There is a sequel also available called Hip Hop For Kids POP! LOCK! and BREAK!

My kids were so excited to try this video. Boy were they disappointed. There is very little instruction. The dances are too hard. The instructor does not do enough teaching. He expects the kids to just follow along. I sure feel ripped off. Dont' waste your money.

Was hoping this would be a lot of fun for my 9 year old, and her younger brothers, too. Forget it. Extremely overwhelming for beginner dancers and fair-to-middlin' dancing moms, too. The moves are cool, no doubt. But my kids won't even attempt it. The coordination is not there. NOT, NOT, NOT begginner friendly. Too fast and too hard.

As soon as I popped this DVD into my TV my kids were glued. This is a great way for your kids to learn the latest dance moves without paying for a private instructer. Not only did I love this DVD but I also enoyed the free cd that came with it. Because I have the cd my kids can play it at birthday parties and listen to that great bonus song in the car. I would give this video a 10/10!!This video is great for all ages. I have an eight, twelve, and fifteen year old and they all love it.
