One of the many reasons I hate rap.,

How can the kid below this review say this album can be "great"? There is absolutely nothing "great" about this "mash-up", it's more like an ultimate mockery. Hip-hop has no place in rock or metal, and it never will, Cypress Hill isn't an exception either. How could Metallica LET these half-brained people butcher some of their greatest songs? People, honestly, if you go along with this garbage, I have three words for you, YOU ARE CRAZY!!!

Review: Hip Hop tribute to Metallica CD
Yet another tribute album to the 4 horsemen, this time a Hip hop CD. My collection does already have way too many "tributes" which is nothing more than bad versions of the songs we all love. Having said that, this disc will not collect dust, it took me by storm, the new arranged hip hop versions show us that the originals are strong tunes and can be used as ingredients to more than heavy metal. This is not blasphemy but pure moshable rap-style-metal. Hip Hop tribute to Metallica CD No words, except a few short names tells us about who the people behind this tribute is. Sad. It is also true that it is the latest songs that makes this format best. Track 9 and 10, "Jump in the fire" and "For whom the bell tolls" does not do any good in the package but the rest, all eight, are killer stuff. Can be ordered from Amazon.com now

I liked "Mash-up", but I love Metallica. The first 10 seconds I thought I was going to sick. SICK! I hated it. You can't mess with perfection, period! I wouldn't even give this album a single star, all the songs were butchered. Man, Cliff must be turning over in his grave.
