About the Author

David Reed has over 20 years of technical sales experience and has been in the mortgage industry since 1989, when he learned the residential lending business as a Mortgage Broker in Southern California. He is the Internet Marketing Director, Western States Region for SouthTrust Mortgage Corporation, a subsidiary of SouthTrust Bank, the 20th largest bank in the United States. He is also a freelance writer, columnist and a Contributing Editor for Mortgage Originator Magazine. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and three children.
