Rocky Burnette, son of rockabilly legend Johnny Burnette and a fine musician in his own right, teamed up with British guitar wizard Darrell Higham & his Enforcers to record this absolutely superb album, paying tribute to his father and uncle.
While all the songs may sound familiar to a real rockabilly/rock'n'roll fan (and when I say rock'n'roll, I mean Jerry Lee Lewis and not the likes of Nirvana and Pearl Jam), these guys manage to add a little extra touch to these true classics.
Check out this album, and if you like it, why not have a look at some of Darrell Higham's other recordings - he's got plenty.

Next to Elvis and Chuck Berry, Johnny and Dorsey Burnette where a part of the early days of rock and roll and a part of the rockabilly trio The Johnny Burnette Trio along with guitarist Paul Burlison. Rocky, Johnny's son carries on the Burnette traditon with this album. If you like rockabilly, this "hip shakin" album is for you! Rocky performs many songs that his dad, Johnny wrote for Rick Nelson that were big hits including "Believe What You Say", "It's Late" and "Just a Little Too Much". He performs one of Dorsey's big hits "Bertha Lou" and does three at the end of the album "live" that the Johnny Burnette Trio recorded including "Tear It Up"! He performs these with Darrell Higham, a rockabilly artist from England. I highly recommend this album!
